Woven Dimensions

  I have never been an avid sports fan, but a love for certain sports was passed down to me by my dad, a long-time cricketer and athlete. Over the years, I have come to understand and appreciate football through my two nephews, both of whom are players, especially the younger one, who plays for his school team and Delhi’s Under-16 squad. The 2026 World Cup was front and center in our family conversations this summer, with different members supporting their chosen teams. Ever since a long trip to Spain in the summer of 2024, my admiration for the country has grown in leaps and bounds. Over the last two years, I have watched Spain fiercely support the Palestinian cause, stand up to the pressure from the US, and maintain a firm stance regarding its support to Palestine's statehood.
